BloggerRap.com: Entrecard Paid Ads Opinion

  • Eddie Garcia · 8 months ago
Good for you! I don't see a thing wrong with the paid ads. After all anyone can place their ads there if they wan to and who isn't trying to make money on the internet. Everything can't be free for heaven's sake. I was always taught, if you can't something good, then don't say anything at all. In other words, Keep your mouth shut! If one will practice this they will see what a better person they can be. Thanks for the post my friend!

    Hi Steve,

I agree with you the guy most need to monetize anyway, there is not possible maintain that site without any funds. Unless of course the guy it is already filthy rich and have nothing better to do than spend money to help the online community. I think he is not, so he need the money.

What I still dont get it, Is what I am going to get? Did my real Entrecard advertisers will need to wait weeks and weeks just for their ads to show? I mean I knwo that I will earn credits from them, so they are my real customers. But the others, don´t see why approve them? They are like spam, they are too many to approve and I don´t want to interfere with my Entrecard advertisers.

Sweets, how bout that other side of graham ..

    the side that slants the facts, and makes disparaging remarks to members;
as well the one who blames the whole collapse of the entrecard empire's
    economy on ASIAN Bloggers ?

co'mon quit shoveling this guys crap, and get a breath of fresh air.
there's a smart way to do business and then there's graham's way.

I suggest you go to my site
and do a lil catch up reading on the Reality of Entrecard.

things are not as rosy as you are pretending and most of us know it.

please, take a step back and get a fresh breath of air, as you seem to need it.

I also agree, Entrecard can't survive on luv. I just started using the service a few weeks ago, but it's working for me. So I don't have this righteous indignation thing going on like people who have been there forever, but really - grow up. Why should a service be free? What entitlement do these people feel. For them it's still free and now the company can pull an income to support all us free loaders.

At first I didn't really understand the whole thing, and had to ask around to see exactly what was what. I'm still not sure if I'[m in or not, I've always liked the concept of EC and have received some really great visitors from the site. I'm going to give it a couple more months to see if it catches on or what will happen. I do however think that they deserve to get paid for what they do. Everyone else is making money on the internet why shouldn't Graham and his company?

I have nothing against Graham and nothing against him making money from this endeavor but he's going about it the wrong way.

There's really nothing wrong with paid ads. The thing is , their system sucks and is unfair. It could have been better if he devised a way to make it fair among the paid ones and the ones who paid w/ credits.
Entrecard is not free---you spend time dropping to earn those credits---that's not free.
If I were them, a simple system like one widget for the paid and one for the "earned" , OR the paid ads choose what blogs they want to place their adverts on and the publisher blog can either approve or reject it like CMF Ads.
I don't approve of paid ads right now because there's no other way to be fair for my droppers and advertisers who waited for days and paid me with their hard-earned credits.

If Graham wasn't so deceptive and badly organised he'd have a lot more support. The fact is the only way paid ads could've worked is with a free economy, let people buy credits from wherever they want because anyone who has them would have to drop to earn them and then tax them when they're transferred. Graham should slap far more paid ads on his own site entrecard.com to prevent ripping off the people that got him where he is. Ah screw it he should sell the system to someone who understands something about online advertising and be done with it. If you want paid advertising, Adwords provides far better value, I don't. I only use EC because of the network of friends and interesting blogs to read, if they all left I would too, Graham can't control it.

    Hello.
I totally agree. Why not making money out of EC?
If we check well, half of the bloggers that are in the system are making some bucks with their blogs.
Thanks for being one of my top droppers!
    Good weekend :)

I also agree that one should not get person when making comments, take the EMOTION out of your reasoning and just comment on what is being discussed

Sorry it should have read "personal"

Hi, I think this is such a nice blog. In my case I'm looking for some good advice when putting videos in my own blogs, for example, I have found a web called Vismo Media, where you can find videos uploaded by people such as me or you, not necessarily pro's. I believe people want not only to read information, but to see, so maybe we can put some videos from there in one of my blogs, and we can also make extra money from Vismo Media, at least that's what they explain in an interactive pie. Check out and tell me what you think www.vismomedia.com
If you have another site, please share it to me, I'll be glad to read from you.

To be honest... 1000 credits for $1 or whatever the ratio is is not worth it to anyone that is trying to spread the word about there blog/site. 1000 credits can be divided many ways into many sites that will produce hundreds if not thousands of page impressions and at least of few will go to your site. If you are advertising or selling a product and one of those people buy something I bet you make more that $1. Actually I KNOW you do... so why ever cash out?
